Peter Heinsohn graduated from Pace University with an accounting degree and obtained CPA certification in NY State.

Peter has worked for 40 years in financial management at 3 companies:
• KPMG LLP
• The Singer Company
• Ricoh Americas Corp.

Peter is currently semi-retired as a financial consultant.  In addition to his involvement with the Resiliency Center of Newtown (RCN), Peter serves on the Board or as a financial advisor to 2 other  nonprofit organizations; Haiti MaryCare, Danbury, CT  and a senior living residence on Long Island.

Peter lives in Ridgefield, CT and has been married to Joan Norton Heinsohn for 42 years.  He has 3 children and 2 grandchildren.  From Peter — “The RCN is important to me, since my son lives in Sandy Hook and my granddaughter would be attending the Sandy Hook Elementary School.”
