Positive Discipline Classes
From 1:30 pm to 4:00 pmPositive Discipline of Connecticut inspires and promotes the development of life skills and respectful relationships in families, schools, and businesses in our local communities. We provide classes, training and support to parents, caregivers, educators, and youth development workers to help strengthen relationships with children, encouraging them to be responsible, resourceful and self-reliant. This six week course runs from 10/13 through 11/24 (no classes on 11/3), from 9:30-12:00. There is an introductory class on September 29th from 9:30-10:30. Classes are for Newtown residents only and are free of charge. There will be a $50 deposit that will be returned if you attend 5 out of 6 classes. This course is funded by the Newtown Sandy Hook Community Foundation. The location is 153 S. Main St., Newtown above RCN in the conference room.
