This children’s storytelling event will take place on Thursday, March 27 at 3:15 pm (new time) at the Resiliency Center of Newtown, 153 South Main Street, Newtown, CT. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Meet Rosie the Raccoon who lives in a trash can, Jackie Willowbey who lives in a hollow tree, and more. The program will end with a fairy tale that illustrates that when good meets evil, good is always stronger. This event is recommended for children ages 5 and up. Joan Almon, who will travel to see us at the Resiliency Center, will be our guest presenter. She will share a medley of stories and verses with the help of her puppets. Joan Almon is a former Waldorf early childhood educator who fell in love with story telling and puppetry while teaching young children. Since then she has performed for all ages.
